The health ministry announced a total of 80 rapid test sites will operate around the island on Thursday.

The sites provide free coronavirus tests to the public and for the obligatory weekly testing of employees.

Employees who received at least one dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine three weeks prior are exempt from having to get tested.

All teachers, school staff and senior school students will need to present a negative rapid test each week to attend school.

Mobile units will go to schools, but students can also go to the various testing centres.

Self-employed and domestic workers are also obliged to carry a negative coronavirus test in case they are asked to present it, the ministry said.

Results are issued at the site or sent to people via SMS within 24 hours. The sites for Thursday are:
