Coffeeshop owner plus four others charged for gambling

Four people were charged with gambling at a coffeeshop by Paphos police acting on a warrant on Sunday evening. The owner of the coffeeshop was also charged.

All five will appear in court at a later date.

Two of the four were also booked for breaking the decree against the coronavirus because they did not have a valid test to be inside the establishment.

Police also found that fines were pending against two of the customers and arrangements were made to collect them.
