Remand for string of burglaries and vehicle thefts

A 27-year-old Paphos man has been remanded in custody as police investigate a string of burglaries and vehicle thefts which he has been linked to.

Paphos police have connected the man to four incidents of burglary at four private properties, as well as the theft of six vehicles, all in Paphos.

The man is accused of breaking into two houses, a coffee shop and a kiosk, from which he is accused of stealing jewellery, a hunting rifle, a motorcycle, retail goods and cash.

Regarding the vehicle thefts, police said that all vehicles have been recovered and the investigation process found evidence against the 27-year-old.

Police said the incidents occurred between October and December 2020.
