Xiaomi opens first dedicated store in Cyprus

Chinese multinational electronics company Xiaomi has opened its first dedicated store in Cyprus.

On Nicosia’s Makarios avenue, the new Mi Store was inaugurated on Thursday. The event included special offers on various items available at the store, with gifts being given to some of the attendees, and was hosted by Cypriot television presenter Tassos Tryfonos.

The company aims to make the most of the capabilities of the recently implemented 5G network by offering smartphones that make the most of the new network’s bandwidth and speed. In addition, other products are also available at the store, including home appliances, mobility solutions such as electric scooters, and sports-related smart devices.

Visitors who attended the event were also able to try out Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones, as well as a range of ultra high-tech gadgets which can be integrated into home or workspace smart ecosystems.

One of the highlights included the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop Pro, an automated robotic vacuum with an integrated floor mopping function, as well as Xiaomi’s electric scooter range, which includes the Mi Electric Scooter Pro, a six-speed scooter with a 45 kilometre range on a full charge.

The sale and support of Xiaomi products in Cyprus is concocted by Info Quest Technologies, an approved distributor of Xiaomi in both Greece and Cyprus.
