Coronavirus: Testing sites for Tuesday

The health ministry announced a total of 59 rapid testing sites will operate around the island on Tuesday.

The sites provide free coronavirus tests to the public and for the obligatory weekly testing of employees.

At least 50 per cent of employees and department heads in the public and private sector must be able to present a negative rapid antigen test.

Employees who received at least one dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine three weeks prior are exempt from having to get tested.

Self-employed and domestic workers and/or people caring for elders or disabled persons are also obliged to carry a negative coronavirus test in case they are asked to present it, the ministry said.

Results are issued at the site or sent to people via SMS within 24 hours. The sites for Tuesday are:
