Police investigate man’s injury

Paphos General Hospital

Paphos police are investigating on Monday after a 25-year-old man was brought to the hospital with serious head injuries.

Police received information from the district’s general hospital around 9pm on Sunday that a 25-year-old man was transferred via ambulance from the Kolpos avenue in Peyia at 8am the same day.

The man is treated for a head injury and a fracture on his jaw with his doctors saying he is stable.

Due to his injuries, police said the man was unable to explain the conditions under which he was injured on Sunday.

Officers are expected to visit the injured man again later on Monday.
