An evening of dirty comedy

It’s time for some good ol’ spicy comedy, and when Australian comedian Elena Gabrielle comes to the island, you can be sure of that. Two fun evenings filled with hilarious dirty stories are coming up in Limassol this week as Elena stops by on her Europe Tour 2021.

The last time Elena was on the island was back in the winter of 2019 when she was touring with Story Party – another hilarious comedy show all about dating stories. Now, she is taking the stage solo to entertain with amusing and very real stories from her dating and sex life. No topic is off-limits when it comes to Elena’s stand-up. One-night stands, detailed funny intimate situations and all that goes with modern love are usually on her set.

If you want a taste and to see what kind of comedy you will be getting yourself into, check out Elena’s YouTube channel that has several of her sets, many of which have gone viral. One of her most popular videos, with 3.4 million views, is about dating a French guy who had quite the likes in his bed preferences. And you can be sure that Elena won’t be shy to share saucy stories like that one again.

Her comedy is direct, at times musical and hugely different to anything we in Cyprus are used to. Elena’s performances always entertain, surprise and turn any evening into a memorable night. Watch out though, she might even pull you up on stage to share your own story. Thursday’s performance at Ravens Music Hall, Limassol is already sold out, yet you can join the waiting list in case of cancellation. Joining her is local comedian Peter Kypri, also famously known as Cypriot Smurf, taking the stage for a set about what goes through his mind on a daily basis, his funny encounters and incessant overthinking. If their previous performances are anything to go by, this comedy show will be a side-splitting event, not to mention one of the few comedy happenings on the island in English!
