An epic street fest in Nicosia

poster

A real street festival is coming to Nicosia this month! It’s hard to believe that an actual street party and event can happen again after a whole year of cancellations and restrictions but the Epic Street Fest 2021 is taking place – even if with a few measures.

On September 16, the recently upgraded Stasikratous Street will turn into a music and food hub. From 7pm until midnight, several DJs will take the decks to blast uplifting tunes while five food vendors will be preparing all kinds of delicious bites to eat. The Potbelly will be there with its signature pulled pork burgers, Moondog’s Bar & Grill will serve its juicy burgers, as will Serial Griller, while Moshi Moshi will bring its Asian sushi flavours to the party. For something sweet, Papafilippou Ice Cream will have refreshing, creamy desserts on hand. Entrance to the FoodHall however will only be for those fully vaccinated or who have had Covid in the last six months. Nonetheless, the bars, cafés and restaurants of the area will also be open and serving people outdoors.

For drinks expect Carlsberg and Leon beers, drinks from The Old Souls, That’s Y All Day Bar and Dreads & Tatts Cocktail Bar. What’s more, all of the proceeds raised from the street carts will be donated to the Nicosia Municipal Multicultural Centre to support school children in central Nicosia.
