Police investigating car theft after client fails to return it

Paphos police HQ

Police in Paphos are investigating a car theft after a woman drove off with a car she said was interested in buying and never returned.

They said a 54-year-old resident of Paphos, owner of a car sales office, complained that in mid-August 2021, a 41-year-old woman had gone to his premises in order to buy a vehicle worth €3,500.

She told him that she would take the car to a car mechanic for a second opinion and never returned.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
