Remand for theft of roof tiles

A 23-year-old man was remanded on Saturday for six days on the suspicion of stealing roof tiles worth almost €8,000 in total from a construction site in Limassol.

An arrest warrant was pending on the suspect after roof tiles worth €7,837 were reported stolen from a construction site in Ayios Athanasios, between September 4 and 20.

The 23-year-old was arrested on Friday evening after being spotted by officers during a patrol.
