Remand after Limassol robbery leaves man with broken jaw and nose

Two men aged 27 and 44 were remanded at Limassol district court for five days on Sunday for robbing and attacking a 32-year-old man in Limassol.

The incident took place late on Friday night outside a kiosk in Omonia area, Limassol. According to police, the 32-year-old reported he was attacked by two individuals who stole his wallet, which contained a sum of money.

The man was taken to Limassol general hospital where he had a broken jaw and nose and kept for treatment.

Police managed to secure evidence against the two suspects who were arrested and subsequently remanded for five days.
