Coronavirus: 40 fines for violating measures

Police conducted 3,101 checks in the last 24 hours  and fined 31 citizens and nine establishment owners for violation of COVID-19 measures.A police spokesperson told CNΑ that in Nicosia after 1,046 checks, 12 individuals were fined and three establishment owners while in Limassol, out of 188 checks, three citizens and two establishment owners were reported.In Larnaca after 622 checks, two citizens were reported and one establishment owner while in Paphos from 130 checks, two citizens and two establishment owners were fined. In Famagusta from 363 checks, five citizens and one establishment owner were reported while seven people were reported after 217 checks in Morphou area.No fines were issued after 168 checks by the Traffic police.
