A 25-year-old has been arrested after he was found in Nicosia with bags of heroin in his possession, police said on Friday.
Following reports of suspicious behaviour in the area early Thursday evening, police went to the location to inspect it.
There they found the 25-year-old with eight nylon packages containing heroin, which were seized.
The man was arrested.
