New Elias Neocleous, CIM tie to shape next generation of lawyers

Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is proud to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership with the island’s premier business school: The Cyprus Institute of Marketing (CIM).

The initial focus of the law firm’s efforts will be to assist CIM in delivering its new LLB (hons) programme, developed in conjunction with the University of West London (UWL), which launches in September 2022.

UWL was named London’s top modern university by The Guardian University Guide 2022. CIM has enjoyed Institutional Approval from UWL since 2011, making their relationship the longest and most successful collaboration between a UK university and a Cypriot Higher Education Institution.

Given that UWL is highly regarded for its practical and career-oriented degree courses, Elias Neocleous & Co LLC’s involvement will include providing a practical insight into the practice of law via guest lectures and internship opportunities. The law firm will also seek to promote student excellence via public recognition of top-performing students.

Thus, the introduction of the internationally-recognised LLB (hons) programme is an exciting new entry into Cyprus’ higher education landscape, in which Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is pleased to play a part. Both Elias Neocleous & Co LLC and CIM anticipate the collaboration to be the first of many such fruitful initiatives.
