Man in serious condition after balcony fall

A 72-year-old Paphos resident is treated in serious condition after he fell while trying to climb up the balcony of his house, Cyprus News Agency reported on Saturday.

The pensioner tried to climb up the two-metre-high balcony with the help of his relative on Friday afternoon as he attempted to enter his house in the Moutalos area after he was locked out

However, he fell and was transferred to the accidents and emergency department of the Paphos general hospital where he was diagnosed with a head injury and facial fracture. Doctors described his condition as serious.
