Two remanded after Paphos bar fight

Two men, aged 35 and 38, were remanded on Saturday on suspicion of assaulting and causing grievous bodily harm to another person during a bar fight in Paphos.

The two appeared before the Paphos district court on Saturday morning, which ordered them to remain in custody until 11pm to complete the investigations, Cyprus News Agency reported.

They were arrested around 1am at a pub in Coral Bay on Saturday after a 35-year-old man complained that both of them had assaulted him.

As a result of the attack, the victim suffered severe injuries and bone fractures.
