MVPS.net marks its 4th anniversary by launching cloud computing services in Cyprus. Located strategically in a data center in Larnaca, its services are designed to provide excellent connectivity to all Cypriots.

‘It has been a long dream of ours to launch our services in Cyprus and it has been a complicated journey, as the island is isolated from an internet connectivity point of view from the European mainland’ said Bogdan Ionescu, director of the company.

Launched in 2018, MVPS a cloud computing company specializing in Virtual Private Servers (VPS) specifically targeted at European consumers and SMEs.

Headquartered in Larnaca, Cyprus, the company provides cloud hosting services in 8 other European locations including Greece, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

‘With our main goal of offering high-performance VPS services at highly competitive rates, our services start at 3 EUR per month and are based on high-quality Dell servers with SSD drives’ explained Ionescu.

MVPS prides itself in being a European company and its goal has always been to provide services in all the European countries and ensure its customers’ data is always hosted in Europe. This ensures its customers can be compliant with the GDPR and other privacy regulations which require the data to stay local.

Looking at the future and based on the input of our customers, MVPS plans to expand to Italy in the next year as its 10th location.
