Paphos police have issued an arrest warrant for a 49-year-old man as they investigate a complaint that he had been paid €46,500 to import two cars but failed to deliver the vehicles.

Paphos police spokesman Michalis Nicolaou said the complaint was made by a 44-year-old Cypriot man who said he had paid the money between August and September last year so that two cars could be imported. So far, none have been delivered.
