Third arrest in forged notes case

Paphos police have made a third arrest as they investigate a case of counterfeit notes deposited at a local bank.

The 35-year-old man was arrested on Thursday. Two others, a man aged 54 and a woman aged 51, are already in police custody.

The case was reported to police by a bank branch manager who said that 43 forged one hundred US dollar notes has been found among $6,300 in foreign currency deposited at the branch last January.
