The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has received the Great Place to Work® certificate.

CySEC is the second public authority that has successfully completed the Great Place to Work® assessment, it said in a press release on Wednesday.

“The Great Place to Work® certificate is testament to CySEC’s high-quality human resource management, its motivational and engaging approach, and the strong bond of mutual trust, between all levels of staff,” it added.

CySEC Chairman, George Theocharides, said that the certification “confirms that, what makes our organization stand out, is nothing other than its people.”

“Highly qualified professionals with technical expertise, who work in a modern environment with specialized systems, having as a priority the mission and vision of the organization for the protection of the investors,” he noted.

According to Theocharides “every new colleague is pleasantly surprised by the working environment, the professionalism, and the high standards of the organization. Receiving this certification is a result of many years of work and the contribution of the employees. Maintaining and further strengthening a healthy work culture is also my own personal goal.”

The General Manager of Great Place to Work®, Kyriacos Iacovides, said that “developing a positive and productive culture should not be a goal only for private organizations.”
