Appointments with specialist doctors can be made online

Okypy, Gesy, Limassol general hospital, hospital
Planned upgrades to the Limassol General hospital are still in the evaluation stage, as "Valuable time is being lost due to appeals"

Appointments can be booked online with 750 doctors across all areas of specialisation via a short and simple process, state health organisation (Okypy) said on Tuesday.

Accordingly, the digital transformation, the continual modernisation and upgrading of services provided to all citizens are among the basic aims of Okypy, it added.

In this context, the organisation offers the public a faster alternative way of arranging appointments with doctors working at its hospitals.

These can be arranged via Okypy’s website https://shso.org.cy/anazitisi-iatrou under the “Book a doctor” tab.

Upon submission for an appointment, an Okypy officer will contact the applicant within 48 hours to confirm it.

The public can also continue arranging appointments via telephone.

For more information regarding Okypy, hospitals, clinics and services provided can be found at Okypy’s website at https://shso.org.cy
