The first Fork Food Market in Larnaca

4

The island’s favourite food market is back and in September it travels to a new city for the first time! Larnaca foodies and friends will finally have the opportunity to taste some delicious street food and welcome an event that has been satisfying taste buds in Nicosia for years.

“We are tremendously excited to be returning from the summer with such big news,” say organisers. “Fork Food Market is finally making its way out of Nicosia and, more specifically, to Larnaca. You will find us at Europe Square, which is next to Finikoudes beach, on Friday, September 2.”

Running in Nicosia since 2014, Fork Food Market was the first street food market in Cyprus. Its selection of vendors keeps growing with a few steady food stalls participating in nearly every market as well as introducing new businesses.

“Having amassed a very good group of vendors over the years,” organisers add, “you can always expect to find at our markets the best, top quality street food our island has to offer. We strive for a round experience so we always look for relaxed surroundings where one can enjoy their food and drinks alongside good music.”

Larnaca’s first Fork Food Market will, of course, be a seaside affair serving classic street food such as burgers, hot dogs and falafel and more unique options such as Asian dumplings and Taiwanese bao buns.

“This event has been a long time coming as efforts to venture outside Nicosia have been attempted a few times in the past years. We are very proud now to be able to say that we are finally doing it,” they conclude. “So, prepare yourselves and come hungry!”
