CITIZENS’ ONE STOP SHOPS

The government-run Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) serve as “one-stop shops” for many administrative procedures which formerly required visits to several government departments.

They are referred to by Cypriots as Grafio tou Politi (Citizen’s office). These centres can issue certificates and documents such as identity cards, permanent resident certificates, driving licences, vehicle registration documents and road tax discs. They can also accept applications for benefits and allowances such as child allowances, sickness benefits, employment injury benefits, maternity grants and old age pensions.

All CSC centres are open from Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

Important to note however that for most transactions credit cards are not accepted
