The roads leading to Troodos from Prodromos, Platres and Karvounas are closed to traffic due to snow and ice, police warned on Friday morning.

Dense fog in the area severely limits visibility.

The following roads are only open to four-wheel drives and vehicles with snow chains:

Pedoulas- Pinewood-Kakopetria

Prodromos -Lemithos

Prodromos-Pedoulas

More snow is expected to fall during the day.
