Paphos criminal court on Friday found a 76-year-old man guilty of sexually abusing an underage girl, a relative of his.

The suspect was found guilty of a total of 39 sexually related offences, including 26 that concerned child sexual abuse and 13 violations of the family law.

The complainant who reported the offences is an underage girl, a close relative of the man.

According to her testimony, the sexual abuse started when she was in the first grade of primary school and continued until she was in the third grade.
