Paphos police were on Wednesday investigating the theft and arson of a €4,000 car.

The owner, a British permanent resident of Theletra, had not realised his vehicle had been stolen.

Police said the car was found on fire around 9pm.

Officers were expected to visit the scene and collect evidence to help identify the culprit.
