Tango legends in Limassol

tango generic

A performance full of passion, eroticism and virtuosity is arriving in Limassol towards the end of the month as the group Tango Legends from Argentina returns to Cyprus. Their previous performance at Rialto Theatre enchanted audiences and now, two shows on May 28 and 29 bring a new repertoire with an even bigger thirst for the passionate love affairs of Argentinian tango.

Under the artistic direction of Μariela Maldonaldo and Pablo Sosa, Tango Legends will present a spectacular tango and music show celebrating the memorable work of Astor Piazzolla, the creator of Nuevo Tango, 30 years after his death. The performance of the Tango Legends becomes seamlessly blended with the passionate sounds and rhythm of the show.

On stage, eight dancers (Μariela Maldonaldo, Pablo Sosa, Sol Menescardi, Matias Casali, Juliana Mansilla, Franco Coheret, Daniela Bravo and Lucas Guevara) will bring these tunes to life performing alongside musicians Cristian Asato on the piano, Ayelen País on the bandoneon and Javier Rodriguez on the violin.
