Police on Wednesday said they have arrested a 37-year-old man who has been wanted for the last 13 years for forging cheques for almost €1,000.

The man was arrested at Paphos airport on Tuesday, police told the Cyprus News Agency.

He was wanted since 2009 for forging cheques for €980, as well as embezzling property under false representation of the same value.
