Ykan (drug squad) members busted a home growing cannabis operation as they searched the house of a 40-year-old in which they found 28 plants.

The raid took place on Wednesday with the permission of a warrant which led them to the house in rural Nicosia where they found a room kitted out for cannabis production.

The man was arrested and Ykan officers took the plants along with other items at the residence as evidence and for further inspection.
