A 17-year-old Limassol resident was arrested on Thursday morning for possession of cannabis after Ykan (drug squad) members searched his house.

The Ykan officers searched the residence after securing a warrant and found 18g of cannabis and €375. Further inspections in the garden uncovered a locked box which contained three nylon bags which had a further 49g of cannabis.

The police subsequently executed the arrest warrant in the presence of the teen’s lawyer and family members.
