Police are investigating a fire that broke out in a parked car in a field in Paphos early Wednesday morning.

The vehicle, owned by a 21-year-old, had been towed to the area on Sunday after experiencing mechanical problems. At around 4.25am on Wednesday, the car caught fire.

Paphos police, in cooperation with the fire service, are investigating the incident.
