Police and labour inspection officials are investigating a work accident on Wednesday at a building under renovation in Limassol.

The accident happened occurred on Tuesday at around 3.30pm police reported and involves a 39-year-old worker who was injured after falling from a 6m height.

The mans suffered fractures to his face, pelvis and leg. He is being treated at an ICU in Limassol where he is intubated in a serious condition but is out-of-danger, according to the report.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the work accident occurred.
