"Take risks, push boundaries, and never stop innovating"
Access to high-performance computing has long been a barrier for creative professionals, engineers, and businesses.
LoLa Cloud PCs, founded by Cypriot entrepreneur Rogiros (Roger) Theophanous, is on a mission to change that by making powerful computing accessible to everyone, anywhere.
Theophanous explained that the company offers an innovative solution that transforms any device into a high-performance PC through cloud computing.
LoLa was born out of necessity, the Cypriot founder told the Cyprus Mail.
“During a university project, I needed a high-performance PC for a solar system simulation but didn’t have access to one. That moment sparked a realisation—why should powerful computing be limited to those who can afford expensive hardware?” said Theophanous.
His vision was to create a world where any device could become a supercomputer.
However, early challenges included educating the market on this shift and developing cutting-edge streaming, cloud management, and cross-platform technologies.
Revolutionising high-performance computing
LoLa Cloud PCs enables users to create and stream a cloud-based PC to any device, eliminating the need for expensive and bulky hardware.
Whether for video editing, AI development, or 3D modelling, LoLa delivers seamless, low-latency performance at a fraction of the cost of traditional high-performance setups.
“LoLa isn’t just another cloud PC—it’s a movement. While most services cater to IT professionals, we built LoLa for everyone,” Theophanous said.
“No setup, no tech expertise—just open the app and unlock a high-performance PC instantly,” he added.
The proprietary MoonShine Streaming Protocol ensures an unmatched balance of affordability, simplicity, and high-resolution performance.
A rapidly growing market presence
LoLa has already demonstrated strong market demand, boasting over 8,000 active users and securing €320,000 in pre-seed funding.
In the past three months alone, the registered user base has surged by 2,000 per cent, showcasing the platform’s growing appeal.
By the end of 2025, LoLa is on track to generate €80,000 in monthly recurring revenue, driven by increasing adoption and its strategic partnerships with resellers and more than 25 affiliate influencers.
The key to LoLa’s success lies in its AI-driven compression, the tech founder pointed out.
“AI-driven compression is the secret weapon that makes LoLa unbeatable,” Theophanous stated.
“It dynamically reduces bandwidth usage while keeping visuals razor-sharp and responsiveness seamless, even on unreliable internet connections,” he continued. “This is not just an optimisation—it’s a breakthrough.”
He added that with proprietary R&D, LoLa continues to push the boundaries of remote computing.

How does LoLa work?
The LoLa experience is designed to be seamless and user-friendly, Theophanous explained.
Users begin by signing up on the LoLa website, selecting a subscription that fits their needs, and downloading the LoLa app.
Once installed, the app turns any device into a high-performance cloud PC, allowing users to install and use their preferred software for design, gaming, or AI projects.
With subscription plans starting at £9.99 per month, LoLa aims to make professional-grade computing both affordable and scalable.
Competitive edge and business model
LoLa wants to stand out in the competitive cloud computing space by offering a unique combination of features that cater to both individual and enterprise users.
The platform provides freemium access, encouraging users to explore its capabilities before converting to paid subscriptions.
“Our long-term vision is bold: a cross-platform OS that turns any device into a supercomputer, giving users seamless access to their files, programs, and computing power anywhere, anytime,” Theophanous explained said.
With flexible pricing structures that include business-grade cloud PCs for £34.99 per month and cloud GPU subscriptions for professionals ranging from £50 to £100 per month, LoLa seeks to offer an accessible yet powerful alternative to traditional high-performance computing.
Investment and future growth
LoLa is currently raising up to €500,000 in funding to scale operations and achieve its ambitious revenue targets.
This investment will support team expansion, marketing and customer acquisition, product development and research, operational support, and intellectual property protection.
The company’s go-to-market strategy includes influencer marketing, reseller partnerships, and platform integrations, ensuring broad market penetration and sustained growth.
Looking ahead, Theophanous envisions LoLa becoming the standard for high-performance computing.
“LoLa is on a trajectory to become the default way people access high-performance computing,” he said.
“We’re starting with gaming and creative industries, but we’re not stopping there. B2B, government, enterprise—we’re building the future,” he added.
“And beyond that? We’re paving the road to an IPO. LoLa isn’t just growing—it’s scaling to revolutionise the industry.”
A vision for the future
LoLa’s long-term strategy includes potential acquisition by major tech firms, private equity buyouts, or a future IPO.
With the global cloud computing market expected to exceed $2 trillion by 2030, LoLa presents an exciting opportunity for investors looking to be part of the next big wave in digital innovation.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, Theophanous shares his philosophy on innovation.
“Disruption isn’t about following trends—it’s about creating them. Find a real problem and solve it better than anyone else,” he said.
“Obsess over performance and user experience. Take risks, push boundaries, and never stop innovating,” he added.
“The future belongs to those who build it—and if you’re not leading, you’re already falling behind,” Theophanous concluded.
