The Energy Ministry this week announced that strong interest was recorded for the third call of the digital upgrade scheme for Cypriot businesses, with the allocated budget of €14 million being exhausted on the very first day.

According to the ministry, due to the depletion of the available budget, the submission of proposals has now concluded.

In total, 491 applications were submitted by existing and new businesses through the ministry’s electronic grant scheme management system.

The ministry stated that these applications will be assessed based on the order in which they were submitted.

The scheme is part of the Thaleia 2021–2027 programme and is co-funded by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Republic of Cyprus, under the EU’s cohesion policy framework in Cyprus.
