Workplace safety is a strategic priority, says ERB Asfalistiki
ERB Asfalistiki, the largest general insurance company in Cyprus and a member of Eurobank, recently held a health and safety presentation on fire protection in Nicosia.
According to an official announcement from the company, the event took place on March 11 and formed part of its ongoing investment in prevention, responsibility and sustainable development initiatives.
Moreover, the event was organised as part of the company’s long-standing cooperation with the Department of Labour Inspection of the Labour Ministry and the Cyprus Health and Safety Association.
The presentation marked the second session for the current period, focusing specifically on issues related to fire safety.
The event took place at the ERB Cyprus Insurance Holdings headquarters in Nicosia, bringing together professionals in the field of health and safety at work.
The session was dedicated to the topic of fire protection, addressing key risks and preventive measures in workplace environments.
Speakers included Andreas Kameris, a structural and fire safety engineer and associate member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, and Leonidas Leonidou, former assistant director of the Fire Service.
The discussion that followed the presentation highlighted the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals.
It also reaffirmed the principle that safety in the workplace is a shared responsibility.
