Three listed Cypriot companies on Monday held their annual general meetings (AGMs) at their respective registered offices, confirming board compositions and auditor appointments alongside the presentation of their 2024 financial results and corporate governance reports.
The Ermes Department Stores Plc Annual General Meeting took place at the company’s registered office, where chairman Demetris Demetriou delivered a brief introductory address outlining the company’s performance.
The meeting reviewed the Annual Report, which included the report of the board of directors and auditors, as well as the corporate governance report, together with the audited financial statements for 2024.
Shareholders approved the re-election of Polyodoros Michaelides, Chrysoula N. Siakola, Giorgos Louka and Nikolas N. Siakolas as members of the board of directors.
The meeting also reappointed KPMG as external auditors and authorised the board to determine their remuneration.
The Woolworth (Cyprus) Properties Plc AGM was also held on the same day at its registered office in Nicosia, where chairman Christakis Charalambous presented a short review of the company’s results.
The shareholders examined the Annual Report, including the board of directors’ report, auditors’ report and corporate governance statement, along with the audited financial statements for 2024.
The meeting confirmed the re-election of Polyodoros Michaelides, Christakis Charalambous and Chrysoula N. Siakola to the board of directors.
KPMG was once again reappointed as auditors of the company, with the board authorised to set their fee.
The Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc AGM was held on the same day at its registered office, with chairman Demetris Demetriou addressing shareholders and outlining company performance.
As in the other meetings, shareholders reviewed the Annual Report and audited financial statements for 2024, alongside the corporate governance report and auditors’ report.
The board confirmed the re-election of Polyodoros Michaelides, Christakis Charalambous, Chrysoula N. Siakola and Eleni N. Siakola as directors.
The company also reappointed KPMG as external auditors, granting the board authority to determine their remuneration.
