Cyprus-based adult website introduces unusual staff benefit

Employees at a company based in Cyprus have reportedly been offered a very unusual addition to their worker benefit package.

Instead of a gym membership, free coffee, or private healthcare, Cyprus-based adult website Stripchat announced last month it would be offering its 200 employees pods to masturbate in while at work to help them cope with stress.

The company announced on its website that its offices will soon get four pods, equipped with an Oculus Quest VR headset and a 4K LED screen, and “accessories” like lotion, lube and tissues.

Employees will be given a 30-minute break during work hours to use the pods, with the goal of “providing current and prospective employees with a safe, comfortable space to rub one out,” the company said.

Stripchаt is аlso leаsing out its pods for up to $50,000 for six months, with the option of аdding а VIP subscription to the plаtform.

This is apparently not the first company to allow employees to masturbate, with Barcelona-based Erika Lust Films providing a privаte “mаsturbаtion stаtion” to help its employees deal with the stress of the pandemic.

“With the pandemic and the huge shift in how we live our lives, I began to notice that my employees had become somewhat agitated and were performing with less energy than before,” owner Erika Lust said at the time.

“So, knowing that there’s only one thing that will make everyone feel good, I’ve set up a private masturbation station for them to enjoy.”
