Over 28 kilos of cannabis have been found off the coast of Famagusta in the past 10 days, with police believing it is coming from the north.

Police on Saturday also said that three kilos of cannabis were found off the Famagusta coast on Friday alone.

According to CNA this happens frequently enough, leading police to carry out regular patrols.

Between December 20 to Friday, over 28 kilos of cannabis have been found off the government-controlled areas of Famagusta.
