A 20-year-old man was remanded for eight days for the possession of cannabis at the Nicosia district court on Wednesday.

The man had been arrested on Tuesday when attempting to pick up a parcel containing 2 kilograms of cannabis from a courier company.

A subsequent body search revealed that he was also carrying approximately 2 grams of cannabis.
