A motorist was arrested on Sunday for speeding after being caught driving at 197kph on the highway.
The man was arrested, charged and released after police nabbed him on the Larnaca-Kofinou stretch of the highway driving 97km over the limit.
The 40-year-old was taken to the Kofinou police station.
