Police looking for two suspects after luxury car swindled from company

ΛΕΜΕΣΟΣ – ΛΗΣΤΕΙΑ ΥΠΑΛΛΗΛΟΥ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑΣ

Limassol police are looking for two men, both 57, on suspicion of blackmail to seize a €30,000 car from a software company.

According to police, one of the men visited the Limassol offices of the software company with five other people. He demanded the transfer of three luxury cars to his name using verbal threats against the 35-year-old owner.

After telling him that two of those cars had been sold, the owner succumbed and gave him the keys for a €30,000 luxury car.

The suspect appears to have been acting on behalf of another man, also 57, from Larnaca, who used to work at the company.

Police issued arrest warrants against the two men, while investigations continue to identify the other five suspects.
