Roadworks will begin on a part of the Limassol-Nicosia highway on Tuesday, lasting until March 31, the transport ministry announced on Monday.

The works will start at 8am and end at 6pm from Monday to Friday.

The highway will be shut from the exit to Sia to the exit of Ayia Varvara. Traffic will be diverted to the old Limassol-Nicosia road.

The ministry also announced roadworks in Nicosia will be carried out on Wednesday at the junction of Griva Digeni and Vyronos Avenue.

Traffic will be diverted to side streets of both roads.
