Altamira launches buy drive for rural Housing Scheme plots

For a limited time, Altamira Real Estate is launching a new campaign, offering over 180 selected residential plots and fields in mountainous, buffer zone and disadvantaged areas across Cyprus.

Having launched the campaign on April 7, over the next few weeks, Altamira, through its website www.altamirarealestate.com.cy, is offering the public a chance to select properties earmarked for immediate development, in regions falling under the revised Housing Scheme to Support Communities in Mountainous, Buffer Zone or Disadvantaged Areas, at the best prices available on the market.

Anyone wishing to move to the countryside can claim financial assistance of up to €55,000, through the Scheme, based on specific criteria.

As such, to best support those looking for an optimal opportunity to move to the countryside, at a time when demand for rural area properties is on the rise, Altamira Real Estate is offering for purchase residential land in 73 villages from all Cyprus districts, which come under the Scheme.

With reserve prices starting from just €4,500 and reaching €161,000, potential buyers can find the property that best fits their budget and needs via the Altamira Real Estate website, being able to filter their search according to specific criteria and access a broad range of information and visuals about each property.

The first offer opening will take place on Tuesday, 20 April 2021, giving interested parties the right to submit their offer until 10am. The same procedure will be followed over the upcoming weeks, until the campaign expires.

In line with the campaign’s terms, the prices listed for the plots are reserved, meaning that potential buyers can claim the property of their choice by placing offers higher than the reserve price. Only offers above the listed price will be accepted; those of a lower value will automatically be rejected. The property will be awarded to the highest offer.
