PwC Cyprus has honoured its trainee accountants for their significant distinctions and overall performance in the ACCA exams that took place in December 2021, at a special ceremony held on April 15, 2022. The trainee accountants were awarded in the presence of the organisation’s CEO, Philippos Soseilos and Chief People Officer Anna Loizou.
More specifically, the PwC Cyprus trainee accountants who were awarded for their performance were Alice Simpson and Alexander Kabanov.
Simpson ranked first in Cyprus and was sixth worldwide in the paper ‘Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)’. She also came first in Cyprus and 10th globally in the ACCA ‘Advanced Audit & Assurance (AAA)’ exam.
Kabanov took first place in Cyprus and placed 11th worldwide in the paper ‘Financial Reporting (FR)’.
Loizou congratulated both trainees on their success and said PwC Cyprus was proud of their performance.
“In a world that is constantly evolving, our aim is to find the right solutions to complex problems, creating value for our clients and society in general,” stated Loizou. “For this very reason, our organisation’s new global strategy ‘The New Equation’ focuses on a people-led future, where innovative solutions lead to sustained outcomes.
“Providing support to our people is a necessary component of success, but also a long-term goal of PwC Cyprus,” she added.
