A medical negligence case was reported to Limassol police by the family of a 55-year-old man who died on Tuesday morning while he was treated at a private clinic.

Police told the Cyprus Mail the man was admitted to a private clinic last week, for an operation to remove the gallbladder.

While the man was recovering from the surgery at the hospital, he suffered a stroke. He underwent another operation, but died on Tuesday morning.
