Following the success of its hybrid, flexible work schedule over the past two years, MAP S.Platis Group, a leading consulting, educational and tech firm in Cyprus’ financial services and regulatory compliance sector, has embraced a four-day work week via its ‘Summer Afternoons’ programme.
Over July and August, all Group employees will enjoy two afternoons per week off while retaining their usual earnings and benefits package. This translates to a 32-hour work week, based on the standard four-day work week that is growing in popularity and effectiveness across Europe.
“It is very important for us to promote a healthy work-life balance amongst our employees, and that is why we strive to implement programmes and work models that support this overarching philosophy,” said MAP S. Platis Group Human Resources Manager Yiola Charalambous.
“Besides all the other incentives awarded to our staff members, with the new ‘Summer Afternoons’ programme, we further recognise our team’s important and diverse contribution to the achievement of our common business objectives,” she continued.
“As part of MAP S.Platis Group, we seek to invest in the overall wellbeing of our people, and we are committed to the continuous improvement of our company’s working environment.”
Meanwhile, the Group’s superior working environment and corporate culture has drawn both domestic and overseas recognition, with one recent example including the international certification ‘We invest in people’ awarded by Investors in People.
Ultimately, MAP S.Platis Group is committed “to investing in building a healthy and pleasant working environment for our people, applying innovative and modern practices to make this happen,” observed Charalambous.
