Woman caught with 6.5kg of cannabis at airport

The drug squad arrested a 30-year-old woman at Larnaca airport on Wednesday after they found 6.5 kilos of cannabis in her luggage.

The woman, who had arrived at the airport from abroad, was stopped for a check by members of the customs department and the drug squad.

After checking her suitcase, they found two plastic packages containing cannabis, weighing approximately 6.5 kilos.
