Friday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with the possibility of isolated rain or even the odd storm during the day.

There will initially be an increased chance of rain in the west and north of the island, with rain clouds set to progress towards the mountains and towards the east during the day.

Temperatures will rise to 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts and 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Winds will largely be light to moderate, between three and four on the Beaufort scale.

Overnight, the weather will be clear, with the exception of the west of the country, where clouds and rain are forecast.

Temperatures will drop to eight degrees Celsius inland, 10 degrees Celsius on the south and east coasts, 12 degrees Celsius on the western and northern coasts, and two degrees Celsius in the mountains, where frost will form.

Cloud cover will return on Saturday and Sunday, with isolated rain expected around the island.

On Green Monday, cloud cover will persist, with increased dust in the atmosphere.
