The Hotel Professionals of Cyprus (Pasydixe) on Monday appointed Polis Kallis as its first general manager, according to an official announcement.

The announcement explained that the new role is aimed at reinforcing the association’s structure, combined with providing better support for hotel professionals across Cyprus.

Pasydixe, part of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve), said the new position marks an effort to bring “modern services and substantial support” to the country’s hotel sector. 

“Kallis is expected to boost the association’s efficiency,” Pasydixe stated, focusing on service to members, keeping them informed, and promoting their interests in the hotel industry.  

His role includes “strengthening their positions and interests,” ensuring they stay updated on industry developments. 

What is more, the association stated that it “remains committed to advancing best practices and providing tools and information for professionals to meet today’s challenges”.

“With the addition of the director general, the association aims to strengthen its activities and enhance the voice of the Cypriot hotel sector,” it concluded.
