Singer Peter Andre “may” retire in Cyprus, he revealed on Tuesday.
In British gossip magazine OK, he pointed out that the United Kingdom’s Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle “may have bought a house in Portugal”, adding, “I’m sure it will be great for them to be near family”.
To this end, he said, “I have my house in Cyprus, so if my family and I wanted to move there, we could, or it’s an option for retiring. I’ll hand it down to my kids and hopefully they’ll pass it to theirs”.
Andre’s parents are both Greek Cypriot, and he was born in the United Kingdom and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, moving to Australia at the age of six.
His most famous song was Mysterious Girl, which peaked at number two on the UK’s singles chart in 1996, and then reached number one after being re-released in 2004 after he appeared on television show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!.
He has five children, two from his marriage with former glamour model Katie Price, and three from his current marriage with Emily MacDonagh.
